Quasar Engineering Ltd is an offshore contract manufacturer providing full turnkey services to our customers. Established sixteen years ago by European expats, we still own and manage Quasar. Our head-quarters are in Hong Kong, while the main manufacturing facility is in Shenzhen, China, the North America office is in New York. Quasar excels in manufacturing complex and/or precision products, which require consistent quality & yields; we are able to achieve 99.9-100% yields. Precision relates to high-precision assembly, for example: optics, sensors (medical/industrial), and products assembled under a microscope. Complex relates to products with many different types of parts/components assemblies: SMT, Thru-hole & COB, metal, plastic, and silicone-rubber, among others. Alternatively, Complex may involve different types of assembly methods: heat-staking, ultrasonic welding, burn-in, calibration/testing, white/clean room, & packing We are ISO9001 Certified, by BSI, we have been ISO since 1998, initially ISO9002 and in 2002 updated to the present ISO certification. We are also currently undertaking the ISO13485: 2001 Medical Device standard. Over the years various standards institutes, including UL, have also audited us, for a variety of products. We manufacture products for the Medical (about 30-40%), Consumer, Telecommunication, and Agricultural Markets, among others.
